Instructions The Frisky Stocking was a lot of fun to make!First, we spelled out her name with ZimABC letters in black. Next, we used masking tape to mask off the places where the yellow lines would be. We painted with a foam paintbrush in between the lines, and then just peeled the tape off, leaving bright, clean yellow lines. Magic! We used Big Presents, Cross-Stitch, Frisky's PawPrint (but, of course!), Checkered Border, DogBones, Twinkle Stars, Little Hearts, and ZimSwirls on our stocking. Use your imagination (and your knowledge of your pet's favorite things!) to choose your stamps. Just remember that bold stamps will make an extra happy stocking! and remember, just because Carolyn thinks cats are the greatest, doesn't make it true. Check your local craft store for blank stockings, or stitch up your own in no time. We've used muslin to make our own - just draw a stocking shape (or trace one!), stitch it up, hem the top, and let the stamping provide the detail. |
